So you want a Career in the Beauty Industry?There are different training and education career routes in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Full time courses are available through a College of Further Education or private training providers. Visit www.britishcouncil.org for recommended pathways into the industry. You would need to find out if tuition fees are paid for you. If you have to pay fees yourself you maybe entitled to tax relief, career development loans or student loans. Remember to check that the course leads to a nationally approved Qualification such as NVQ or SVQ, Cidesco or Cibthac, from an awarding body. There are also a select number of Universities that offer BSc in Spa Management or a Foundation Degree, visit www.ucas.com for list of Universities that provide this course in your area or www.foundationdegree.org.uk. |
