Janet started her career in the Health and Fitness industry initially in the UK and then as a manager for the 24 Hour Fitness chain in Los Angeles, California.  Whilst working in the USA she was a presenter at many top fitness events and worked alongside leading instructors at the prestigious Sport Club LA.

On her return to the UK in 1995 she took up an appointment at the Champneys Resort taking the leisure department through complete refurbishment and updating the facilities to ensure the resort maintained 5 star standards and continued leading the way in wellness programmes.

Through her knowledge and contacts in the industry both in the UK and overseas, Janet continues to drive the business at the Active Connection, ensuring it remains the number one choice for clients and jobseekers in the spa and leisure industry.

Michelle has run the Spa and Beauty Recruitment Desk for Active Connection since January 2002 and has a vast amount of knowledge in all aspects of recruitment both in the UK and overseas. Clients enjoy Michelle’s versatility, whether they require a beauty therapist, spa manager or top sales executive, Michelle has the ability to find top candidates every time. Michelle will also be working with our agent in Dubai heading the new Active Connection UAE, specializing in Middle East recruitment.

Michelle has worked in the industry for twenty years, initially as an entry-level therapist working up to Spa Manager with a leading hotel chain.  She is trained in Beauty Therapy, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Chinese Medicine as well as product houses such as Decleor, Thalgo, Sothys, Clarins, Jessica, St Tropez and Aromatherapy Associates; during her career she has worked as a beauty therapy lecturer and now delivers Active Connection career talks at UK colleges.
